"In order to identify college students' difficulties
more quickly, the author has developed a pilot
project that combines an adaptation of the
Response to Intervention (RTI) model with a
continuous monitoring system. Based on
observable indicators such as attendance, assignment
completion and literacy performance,
this approach makes it possible to identify and
proactively respond to students' difficulties,
while reaffirming the central role of teaching
