Note:Formative assessment has been around for a long time. This interactive workshop offers participants from all disciplines the opportunity to visit or revisit different concepts related to formative-assessment practices in the classroom that have an optimal effect on student motivation and success, such as regulation, self-regulation, metacognition, and feedback. The workshop also covers some practical techniques that can foster student engagement and participation during learning activities in order for students to progress and improve their learning outcomes.
