Abstract:
"As an educator and researcher, first at CEGEP in nursing,
then at university in higher education pedagogy, I have
always focused on ways to increase the educational success
and retention of post-secondary students. A never-ending
quest, it seems! In this article, I intend to examine the
avenues that have been explored by researchers in higher
education and to put into perspective the administrative
barriers and sometimes conflicting postures of both researchers
and teachers, which seem to have hindered the
implementation of the proposed orientations. I will then
explore ways in which the transfer of research findings
into pedagogical practices can be facilitated." -- AQPC
