"Research results are always available in written form, in a report or an article. Although researchers can also disseminate their work orally at a conference, through scientific posters or online infographics, it is generally through the written word that practitioners gain access to new knowledge in their field.

In fact, it’s often through reading that we assimilate information in order to learn. While reading is an entirely personal activity, reflecting on the content of a text or the applying ideas can become a collective activity. Indeed, it is precisely through discussion, the confrontation of ideas and the negotiation of meaning that the development of each individual’s knowledge is fostered (Kozanitis, 2005)." -- AQPC
