Abstract:
"This data management plan was created using the Portage template for mixed methods
(surveys and qualitative research) offered on the DMP Assistant platform. It was developed by a
team of researchers and a research advisor with support from the research data management
working group of the communauté de pratique des conseillères et conseillers à la recherche
[research advisors’ community of practice], which is led by the Association pour la recherche au
collégial. It was created in response to an invitation from the Digital Research Alliance of
Canada’s Data Management Planning Expert Group (DMPEG) to create sample data
management plans (DMPs) that could be shared publicly to help researchers develop
high-quality DMPs. The plan concerns innovative social practice research conducted by a
college technology transfer centre. It uses a mixed methodology combining quantitative analysis
of secondary and primary survey data with analysis of qualitative data collected from
