Résumé:
“How can ICTs facilitate learning in students and how can they better serve teachers?”
This article, part of the file on the Métarecherche sur les TIC en pédagogie: du diagnostic au pronostic, attempts to answer this question using a frame of reference created to assess the contribution of ICTs to teaching and learning. The author also examines the question of tools that can help us make the best technological choices in teaching and offers a model plan for integrating ICTs. This model proposes that the task of writing an integration plan for ICTs be given to those in charge of ICTs, in collaboration with the other players in the college environment. The author outlines a three-phase development process: the engagement of the establishment to produce an integration plan for ICTs; the determination of the means and the specification of the role of players who will put these means in place; and the implementation of the approved plan by making the development of ICT abilities an integral part of learning activities. Still according to the author, in order to better manage these changes, work should begin on three levels: the mastery of technological abilities relating to ICTs by both the teachers and the students, and the integration of ICTs in our learning and evaluation strategies.
